BE A YBS ENTREPRENEUR!

 

Eligibility 

  • Potential entrepreneurs must be Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Potential entrepreneurs must be 18-35 years old
  • Potential entrepreneurs must not already have attained funding from banks

 

YBS is looking for...

  • Innovative and dynamic individuals with pioneering business ideas
  • Risk-takers with an enterprising outlook
  • Committed and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about what they are doing
  • Entrepreneurs who possess strong sense of professionalism and personal integrity, uphold ethics, accountability and transparency in all their doings 

 

As a YBS Entrepereneur, you can receive...

  • A seed funding of up to $60,000 ($12,500 + $50,000) depending on the business idea:

          -  Up to $12,500 business loan (interest free) from YBS with a repayment period of three years

          -  A 1:4 matching from SRING Singapore and applicant can apply up to $50,000 grant based on the

             YES! Startups scheme by SPRING

  • A personal mentor who will walk you through the start-up phase of your business by giving you emotional support and necessary guidance
  • Networking and learning opportunities with YBI and other member country youth business programmes through the YBI umbrella
     

 

Code of Conduct

  • YBS Entrepreneurs shall possess the integrity to do the right thing, be humble enough to admit any mistakes made and be ethically responsible in all pursuits.
  • YBS Entrepreneurs shall be brave enough to try new concepts and ideas and be truly original in their innovations, respecting intellectual property at all times.
  • YBS Entrepreneurs shall be responsible in making payments of their financial loans or any other liabilities belonging to them punctually.
  • YBS Entrepreneurs shall provide timely reports to track business progress, surface concerns, and ensure accountability.
  • YBS Entrepreneurs shall seek to create and provide employment opportunities regardless of race and religion.
  • Mature entrepreneurs shall continue to support Youth Business Singapore and generously contribute their expertise, resources and experience for the sustainability of Youth Business Singapore.
